A Letter From A Parent

January 23, 2013

To Whom It May Concern:

My daughter, Peyton, has been attending Castle Day Care (CDC) located at 1141 Castleton Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10310 from March 2009 to present.  She is currently attending the Pre-Kindergarten program, 2012 – 2013 school year.

Castle Day Care has provided excellent day care services for Peyton (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday) from March 2009 to present.  I am very happy and fortunate that CDC can provide Peyton with a full-day Pre-K program this year as well as with before and after school programs.

I am a “picky” mom, but not a first time mom, and after visiting and having experienced a few child care facilities I have to say that CDC is most impressive.  I would definitely recommend them to any parent.  They have provided my daughter with excellent care up to this point and I have no doubt that they will continue to do so up until she graduates.

From my observation, CDC is a diverse day care and preschool that provides each preschool student with knowledge about other cultures, customs, people, and countries.  Parents are always well informed about the curriculum, activities in the school, and any information that may affect the school’s normal day to day activities.  The school is always clean, well secured from potential threats, and the staff is well supervised.  The food program helps parents, like me, who work full-time and don’t always have time to prepare lunch and sometimes breakfast.  My daughter loves the food and snacks CDC provides.

Peyton is very industrious, creative, and driven and CDC has nurtured and expanded upon these characteristics.  This speaks to their excellent curriculum and care for each child’s individuality.  She is able to transition from one thing to the next with ease and has become quite an articulate and independent 5 year old.  By the time she leaved CDC, I know that she will be ready and well equipped for any Kindergarten in a public or private school.
